NO MORE MESSY ADHESIVES!!! NEVER BE WITHOUT TEETH!!!
Dr. Velinsky was the first dentist on the Treasure Coast in Stuart, Florida to successfully perform this latest technological advancement in dentistry with outstanding results and overwhelming patient satisfaction !
The Teeth-in-an-Hour™ protocol is a unique solution made possible by the Procera® System. A custom fabricated precision drill guide and a pre-manufactured prosthesis, based on CT images and virtual planning, can be made before surgery. The major decisions of the treatment are made during the planning. The execution of the implant placement that follows is performed with minimal surgical intervention.
Steps Toward a Permanent Smile:
1. The first steps taken to see if you are a candidate will begin in our office located in downtown Stuart, Florida. Dr. Velinsky and his team will evaluate your existing dentures and provide a comprehensive examination of the structures of your mouth. Your options will be presented to you and arrangements will be made to schedule you for a 20 second CT scan to be taken of your existing dentures and mouth. This appointment will be made at one of our local oral surgeon's office, whom Dr. Velinsky works with as a team.
2. After the CT scan has been taken, Dr. Velinsky and the oral surgeon will take the data from the CT scan and download the information to a specialized 3D computer program. This program allows them to perform a virtual surgery for precise implant and teeth placement for your mouth. Once the computer surgery is completed, the information is sent out to a laboratory where a custom surgical guide will be made for the exact implant placement. Also, at this stage, we will have the implants, parts and custom made teeth ready for the surgical appointment.
3. The moment has arrived!!! In less than two hours, you will have a full set of functional teeth. The surgery will take place at the oral surgeon's office. The oral surgeon will place the implants with the aid of the surgical guide and Dr. Velinsky will place the teeth.
The result is that the patient leaves the chair with teeth in place after a short and non-traumatic surgery with a minimum of post-operative reactions. This new modality provides enhanced patient satisfaction and simplifies the work of the treatment team.
