Dear Dr. Lippisch & Dr. Velinsky:
I came to you with a mouth full of problems last year (gum disease etc.) and an idea of how I wanted to handle them. I appreciate that, against your better judgment, you went along with my plan for complete extractions and dentures. Initially, I thought that would work out for me but found that after 1 year I wasn't happy with the day to day (sometimes hour to hour) maintenance of dentures and because of my relatively young age (58) that I didn't want to have to deal with this the rest of my life. Hence your recommendation for Teeth in an Hour/Teeth in a day. So as you know, on Sept. 4 I had the surgery (18 implants) and I was pretty uncomfortable afterward. On Sept. 5, I woke up with slight soreness and that was the extent of my recuperation except for the fact that I am restricted to a soft food diet for the next few months, which is really not that limiting.
Since the surgery I have gone on vacation, gone out to dinner, I can eat and drink without worrying about my teeth coming loose and am very pleased to have my life back, not to mention that they look great too. I should have followed your initial recommendation and done this a year ago but the financial aspect was a consideration as well. Now I can say, this is the best money I have ever spent. I guess you can tell that I am a happy man and so appreciate all that you have done and your God given talents. I feel blessed to have found you and your caring, compassionate, professional staff. Thank you just isn't enough.
