Doctor Velinsky is a graduate of the University of Denver and Tufts University School of Dentistry, graduating with honors and membership in the dental honor society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. He has studied under Dr. Larry Rosenthal, world leader in cosmetic dentistry, and Dr. Thomas Balshi, creator of the Teeth in a Daytm protocol and developer of Teeth in an Hourtm for Nobel Biocare, the world leader in implant technology.
Active in implant, reconstructive, and cosmetic dentistry, with 32 years of experience, Dr. Velinsky was the first dentist on the Treasure Coast in Stuart, Florida to perform the high tech procedure known as Teeth in an Hourtm. This cutting edge dentistry includes the use of a specialized CT scan converted into a 3D model of the patient's jaw, on which a "virtual implant surgery" is performed, prior to any procedure.
Dr. Velinsky is also the first dentist on the Treasure Coast to be trained to make "virtual impressions" for crowns and fixed bridges using the iTerotm system. Gone are the days of six to eight minutes with sticky and gagging impressions in the mouth. Laser guided images are taken of the prepared teeth and transmitted electronically to his laboratory for the construction of beautiful porcelain crowns and bridges.
Other technology advances in his office include Digital X-rays, reducing radiation exposure with better diagnostic capabilities. He also uses cosmetic computer imaging letting patients preview cosmetic changes prior to any actual treatment.
"With the numerous hours of continuing education and seminars I attend, I am able to provide for my patients the latest technological advancements in dentistry to deliver outstanding quality, patient comfort, and high end dentistry with state of the art equipment".
